Save the Music - Keep the music alive in South Milwaukee for our future generations in the SM Middle School and lower grades, by donating that gently-used musical instrument gathering dust in your closet. 

WANTED:
Orchestra:
Violin, Viola*, Cello*, Bass* and bows.

Band:
Flute, piccolo, clarinet, bass clarinet, oboe,
bassoon, trumpet, trombone, horn, baritone, tuba*, sax, drums.
(sorry, no pianos or organs)

*-greatest needs

 

Spread the word - Downsizing?  Estate sale?  let your elders and family members know they can leave a musical legacy by donating their musical instruments.

Appraisals available for tax purposes.  Donations have come from our backyard and as far away as Oconomowoc.  We can arrange a 1/2 way point to meet.

Update:  As of August 1,  2008 - Three (3) Trumpets, Four (4) Clarinets, one (1) drum set, one (1) trombone, one (1) flute and (1) saxophone have been donated to the SM Music department and into the hands of eager music students.  Thank you!

The South Milwaukee Music Program has been, and continues to be, one of the finest music programs in the State. Music benefits the student in so many ways. Children learn to work as a team, they learn discipline, they gain self-confidence and pride, and studies have proven that students involved in music perform higher academically than those that do not.
