2009 WSMA District Solo & Ensemble Music Festival

When: Saturday, March 28th
Where:  South Milwaukee HS and MS Campus
901 Fifteenth Avenue
on 15th Avenue between Rawson and College Avenues

VOLUNTEER INFO

Monday, March 23rd - 7PM   Volunteer briefing meeting in the SMHS Music Department Monday evening.  All Volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend.

Festival Headquarters will be located across from the SMPAC - in the Art Department.

Volunteer check-in will be located in the commons near the "stage" area.

Food donations needed:

• Concessions - bake sale donations needed (packaged in 50 cent bags) muffins, brownies, cookies, popcorn, "puppy chow," krispy treats, packaged chips, etc.
   

• Beverages:  bottled water

Volunteers needed:

• Friday, March 27th report at 2:45pm to the SMHS music department - to help set up the judging sites.
   

• Saturday, March 28th - volunteers report :

  Help at concessions, early birds needed to report between 7am and 7:30am to setup.  Report to the commons.  Sell bake sale items, breakfast and lunch items, coffee/tea/water/soda. 

  Runners - run judge slips to the festival HQ for tallying, and post results every 30 minutes in two locations at the school.

  Room monitors:  keep the students flowing in/out of the room so the judges stay on time.
   

  Traveling canteen:  cart water and snacks to the judges throughout the day.

  Judges lunch - help set up and serve the judges lunch between 11am and 1:30pm.
