Meet Mr. Jackson

Our Theatre Director, Bill Jackson, has performed at The Skylight Opera Theatre in ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, and AIN'T MISBEHAVIN, THE TEMPEST at the Milwaukee Shakespeare Company, and in The Chamber Theatre's ANGELS IN AMERICA: PERESTROIKA and HOMEBODY/KABUL. In Milwaukee community theatre, Mr. Jackson performed in THE KING & I, SIDESHOW, CHESS, and the title role in SWEENEY TODD for the Bay View Players. He was in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, PIPPIN, and SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM at Sunset Playhouse. For CAPITA Productions, he choreographed JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. He worked at Waukesha Civic Theatre as director and choreographer of THE FANTASTICKS and WEST SIDE STORY and played Quixote in THE MAN OF LA MANCHA. Bill also served as Artistic Director for Milwaukee's Hansberry-Sands Theatre Company. Mr. Jackson performed in Chicago with the Organic Theatre Company, the Travel Light Theatre, The Chicago Black Ensemble, and The Arie Crown Music Theatre where he danced in the chorus of DAMN YANKEES with Gwen Verdon and Ray Walston. A graduate of Northwestern University, and former faculty of the Milwaukee High School of the Arts, we applaud Mr. Jackson and the creativity he brings to our stage.
